Matthäus Spechtler – Water for Africa
„IT IS OUR VISION, WITH THE HELP OF OUR GLOBALLY UNIQUE SYSTEM, TO CURB WATER POVERTY NOT JUST IN AFRICA, BUT ALSO ON ALL CONTINENTS, AND TO SAVE MILLIONS OF HUMAN LIVES. ACCESS TO DRINKING WATER IS A HUMAN RIGHT. WE MAKE IT REALITY. OUR FOCUS IS ON: PRODUCTION, COMMISSIONING, CREATING JOBS, LICENSING, SALES, INTERNATIONALIZATION & SAVING LIVES“

WHAT WAFRICA WILL ACHIEVE
We provide filtered and chilled drinking water | We provide free high-speed WiFi to those within a 500 metre radius of our system | We make a contribution to environmental protection | We only work with renewable energy | We will create thousands of new jobs | We save lives | We reduce up to 50% of plastic waste | We create new infrastructures We secure income for the people | We set signs and trends and serve the community.
The potential for WAFRICA is unspeakable, as more than 600 million people in Africa alone are without water and around 2 billion people worldwide according to the united nations. WAFRICA will first be launched in the South African market and then within the rest of southern Africa followed by targeted countries internationally. As a “Proudly South African” declared invention, WAFRICA will start its triumphant march from South Africa and save millions of lives. The production costs of one system is refinanced after approximately six months, based on a small community of 5000 inhabitants who regularly consume our water at an average price of R3 per 5 litres. The entire business model is designed to provide people with clean water at a price that is up to 90% cheaper and still beneficial. In addition the poorest of the poor will receive our water for free. People will not only appreciate WAFRICA but also love it, because water is life and the current prices for drinking water are pure usury.
WHY WAFRICA
The most important thing at the moment is to build the first fully functional prototype. As soon as we have finished this first prototype, we will benefit from international funding from the Deutsche Entwicklungsgesellschaft DEG (German Development Agency, Johannesburg office) in the amount of at least 2 million Euros. I have already been promised this funding in writing, as DEG has classified the WAFRICA project as “the most innovative and most important project for the African continent in years.”
Furthermore, I was able to generate considerable interest from Premier Alan Winde, and he has assured me of his full support in officially launching the first system, which will generate enormous media coverage. I quit my job as a CMO of an international company because I was overwhelmed by the urgent need for water throughout the world and therefore founded WAFRICA. I financed the entire development of the system through to market readiness from my own resources. WAFRICA is my life and together we will save lives and be internationally successful. I have the commitment to international funding in the amount of 2 million euros = R 36m, as well as a brilliant team of international colleagues and technicians who have performed all of their services free of charge to WAFRICA. In this context, I would like to mention that all future employees (WAFRICA water warriors) will for the most part be seniors, as they have the necessary reputation and respect, and more than 95% of the employees will be people of colour. Furthermore, there will be an NGO within the company that will focus on the education of children in primary schools, since education is of the greatest importance to our youth and a means for a secure future.
We therefore kindly invite you to become an integral part of WAFRICA and to finance the first prototype so that we can start the project together. Let’s change the world together, save human lives, create jobs and become internationally successful.
